3XN
3XN is an internationally recognised Danish architecture practice founded in Aarhus in 1986 by Kim Herforth Nielsen, Lars Frank Nielsen, and Hans Peter Svendler Nielsen. Led by founder Kim Herforth Nielsen, the global studio is headquartered in Copenhagen with offices in Stockholm, London, New York, and Sydney, creating projects ranging from cultural institutions and educational spaces to workplaces and urban transformations. The practice achieved its international breakthrough with the Danish Embassy in Berlin and the Muziekgebouw concert hall in Amsterdam, later delivering iconic structures such as The Blue Planet, Royal Arena, Olympic House, cube berlin, and Quay Quarter Tower. Guided by Scandinavian values, 3XN and its research unit GXN focus on human-centred design, circular construction, and social responsibility to deliver enduring, competitive architecture that fosters human interaction.
