Knudsen Berg Hindenes
KnudsenBergHindenes is a Norwegian design studio founded by Petter Knudsen, Steinar Hindenes, and Anders Berg, following the initial establishment of Knudsen & Hindenes in 2009. Drawing on backgrounds from the Bergen National Academy of the Arts, the trio’s practice spans furniture, product, and interior design, with projects ranging from commercial seating solutions like the BOP chair to spatial environments. Driven by a collaborative and holistic approach, the studio focuses on developing functional, carefully considered products defined by structural clarity, material sensitivity, and strong contextual relevance. They have collaborated with leading manufacturers and institutions across Scandinavia, earning widespread recognition for creating distinctive, enduring designs that enhance the relationship between people and their everyday environments.
