Marre Moerel
Marre Moerel is an internationally acclaimed Dutch designer who studied furniture design at the Royal College of Art in London. After residing in New York from 1993 to 2002—where she worked as a designer, curated global design exhibitions, and taught at Parsons School of Design—she relocated to Madrid to establish Marre Moerel Design Studio. Functioning as both a design office and store, her studio produces commissions, self-initiated projects, and her signature line of ceramic tableware and lighting. Driven by experimental forms and material exploration, her practice focuses on crafting unique, limited-edition objects alongside functional everyday designs. She has collaborated with prominent international brands such as Cappellini, Covo, and Offecct, with her work exhibited in major venues like London's V&A and featured in leading global design publications.
